I strongly believe that there is not a singular path forward when seeking health and wellness in midlife.

 

Instead within our sessions we have the opportunity to create a quietening,  space to breathe, re-group and become abundantly clear on where we are now, and (importantly) where we would like to be.

My sessions are ideal for Midlife Women who find themselves depleted, weary and wrung out and wondering what the heck happened to their body, mind and mo-jo.

 

Within the sessions I will share the phenomenal practices of HeartMath and EFT to dispel anxiety and overwhelm, heal trauma and banish mis-held beliefs that are holding you back.

 

We'll also explore simple tweaks to your diet and lifestyle that can work beautifully in mid-life and beyond. 

I recommend booking a 15minute initial discussion and from there we can build the sessions around your needs.

Prices start from £90/hr; a 90minute session is recommended initially. All sessions are via Zoom.

Emotional Freedom Technique 
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping) is a powerful holistic healing technique based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure points and modern psychology.

This simple technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion that you wish to better manage or overcome, whilst tapping on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

This sends a calming signal to the amygdala, an area within the brain.  The amygdala is responsible for triggering the stress response in our bodies, also known as the fight-or-flight response. In this frenetic world this can become over stimulated and rather than keep us safe it can throw us into an unnecessary state of stress and overwhelm.
 
Studies have shown that EFT decreases the stress hormone cortisol, allowing the body to reset and feel relaxed and back in control.
 
EFT has successfully been used for anxiety, depression, overwhelm, weight loss, food cravings, disordered sleep, pain and so much more. 
Easy to learn, EFT is hugely helpful in midlife as we traverse the myriad of challenges and carve out a new way forward.
Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching
The food we eat plays a vital role in our health and well-being. In Mid-life this becomes all the more important.
 
I have lost count of the number of Women in Midlife who have expressed bewilderment that they're usual tweaks and tricks have yielded them with poor results once they hit 40 and beyond. They feel their energy has plummeted, their body shapes are changing and symptoms of bloating, discomfort, pain, poor sleep and see-sawing emotions are all too familiar. 
I don't believe in a super strict, all or nothing approach to diet and lifestyle changes. Any change can be challenging, but change in midlife can be all the more tricky when we already have so many balls in the air. An educator at heart, I like my clients to feel empowered, informed and inspired on their journey to optimum health.
 
I like to meet people exactly where they are and build change around their needs, nudge by nudge., assessing and reviewing as we go.
 
Self-Care and Self- Compassion are essential ingredients to every single session. For when we lead with our hearts we can never go far wrong.
